About the role
Due to an internal promotion, we’re now on the hunt for a planning superstar who will be key to organising the sites mechanical work plan.
Reporting to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager, the Maintenance Planner is the vital cog in the wheel of our Maintenance team, planning and organising all maintenance work across the site. This role will have critical relationships with our Electrical and Mechanical Supervisors as well as the Production Manager. The Maintenance Planner is also responsible for establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external providers and contractors.
Other responsibilities include;
First and foremost, you will have a strong safety focus and awareness. Your “can do” attitude, outstanding communication skills and advanced organisational skills will see you excel in this role. You’ll need to be able to adapt to change quickly and build effective relationships within the team and across the site to have the biggest success in this role.
A relevant trade or engineering qualification is required, as is 3-5 years of maintenance planning experience.
